Take one potato

Take one potato, cut it in half, scratch it up a bit with a fork, rub all over the front of your car where there are a million dead flies (especially visible on a white car), then wash off with a sponge – easy peasy and not much elbow grease needed!  Works pretty well on the windscreen too - I just need to clean the rest of the car now!

              

Budding body artists hard at work this afternoon - the weather was fine and not too windy so we decided to get out the paint!  It all started so cleanly, but soon turned messy but the kids had a fab time painting themselves and then running round the garden naked and jumping in the paddling pool to wash themselves off.  Ben went off to order the wood for the floor - how exciting!
