Spuds calling
Blood results in and all is good - a fine set of bloods according to Nurse Ben. This is great news on the one hand but on the other does not explain why I am still feeling the way I am. Scan booked for Monday morning so maybe this will give me some answers.
My little gardening helpers today learnt how to plant our potatoes - they have been sitting in our barn for a week or so now and with rain forecast for the weekend it was an ideal time to get them planted. Rivan loved fetching the seed potatoes for me and putting one in each hole and then Ruby helped cover them all up and stamp them down. One of the rows was a mixture of Charlotte and Binge - I had put a marker stick to highlight where the variety changed - Ruby thought it would make a good walking stick and pulled it out!
They were patient and helpful and enjoyed it when we stopped for a drink - Ruby putting the juice in her tea pot and being the hostess with the mostess. We all sat in the caravan and enjoyed our refreshments. A pleasant surprise late afternoon as our neighbour appeared with the cushions for the caravan so the kids helped her get them into place and then disappeared with their surrogate granny for an hour whilst I finished up in the garden and went to make dinner.
